Message from the President of the RAALP Board of Directors
Goodbyes Are Never Easy…

To many, Beverly Post is the welcoming face of RAALP, and the smiles she has engendered remain even as Beverly announces she is moving on from the program after more than four years as Program Director. The RAALP board is very grateful for Beverly’s careful guidance of the program’s period of growth and maturing, cultivated with an eye always on RAALP’s sustainability. She has provided the focused center that has allowed RAALP to build community partnerships with confidence and trust in its mission. Beverly has strengthened the foundations upon which RAALP will continue forward, and I join the Board in commending her for her service – true service, willingly given – to the ideal of promoting literacy in our times, in our place.
RAALP is seeking a new Director who will carry the program into its next phase. That Director will work through Beverly’s transition out of the program with the rest of RAALP’s outstanding office staff in place, as we wish Beverly every success in her future. —-Susan Roybal
